1947: Captain Jeff Eliott returns to Germany to thank the Lehrt family, who hid him during WW-II when his plane was shot down over Munich. However he learns that the parents died when their house was bombed, only their daughter Wilhelmina, now 18, is still alive. He finds the pretty girl working as nightclub hostess and shortly after starts dating her. 男方以为自己在演爱情片，实际上女方在利用他演谍战片。结尾要是女主真的被一枪撂倒嗝屁了我也敬这个本子不落俗套，可惜啊，最终还是要演回爱情片。刚出场的Gene Kelly看着还有点胖胖的，到了后面尤其是换上飞行员夹克之后仿佛瘦了点，这是不是要给服装师加鸡腿？
男主全程负责痴情奉献，女主战争中长大、年纪轻轻无父无母反而更加现实冷酷。Pier的形象演这角色非常适合，气质单纯，但又看起来太聪明，以至于总让人想相信她又不敢相信。
