Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving November 2012, four boys in a red SUV pull into a gas station after spending time at the mall buying sneakers and talking to girls. With music blaring, one boy exits the car and enters the store, a quick stop for a soda and a pack of gum. A man and a woman pull up next to the boys in the station, making a stop for a bottle of wine. 纪录片本身并没有涵盖Jordan Davis枪击案审判之外的内容，但是其中有效的剪辑与采访片段让整个庭审变得扣人心弦，其中最让我印象深刻的还是Davis父亲对整个事件的态度，还有凶手未婚妻的沉默与诚实，凶手的各种非理性行为也非常令人震惊。
角度陈旧，内容单薄。
所谓大师级的剪辑就是连法庭戏都沦为了操纵观众感情的工具。有立场不是问题，把灰色简化成黑白分明，轻描淡写最该检讨的体制漏洞和整体意识叫偷懒，反正十恶不赦的一方其恶之一必定是拒绝采访，多么方便。以及HBO对自己这些社会问题纪录片的配乐什么时候才会审美疲劳。

枪击案件主题的纪录片，因为是记录片而不是文艺片所以评判标准会不同，但这不能掩盖我在电影院无聊进而烦躁不停刷手机的事实。片子看完后我更多的是对少年生命逝去的惋惜，至于谁对谁错、种族歧视、美国对枪支许可的政论意点，枪支检查工作疏忽等的尖锐问题我只觉得，很难定义…
我给五颗星的纪录片。
BJIFF颐堤港CGV。看过好老婆等律政剧看起来毫不费力，节奏紧凑，整个放映过程中我没看过一次手机。虽然倾向性很强，但最后一幕太戳泪点，孩子已经不在了，杀人犯就算被判刑孩子也回不来了。
