Mulder is annoyed when a self-declared psychic who is soon to be executed in the gas chamber, Luther Lee Boggs, offers to give them information about the case in return for a permanent stay of execution. Mulder is convinced he's a sham as far as being a psychic goes and is convinced that Boggs is orchestrating the kidnappings using outsiders.
