Of all the great ballerinas, Tanaquil Le Clercq may have been the most transcendent. With a body unlike any before hers, she mesmerized viewers and choreographers alike - her elongated, race-horse physique became the new prototype for the great George Balanchine. Her unique style, humor and authenticity redefined ballet for all dancers who followed. Amazingly, she was the muse to not one great artist but two; both George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins loved her as a dancer and a woman. Balanchine married her and Robbins created his famous version of Afternoon of a Faun for Tanny. Tanaquil Le Clercq was the foremost dancer of her day until it suddenly all stopped. 能看到Tanny的牧神的午休就值了，她的表演真的是经典，至今難以超越。
背着个性和才华找生活的平衡真不是件易事。传奇舞者+珍贵史料，故事讲得中规中矩。
配乐怎么这么诡异。。。治失眠良药。。。
Tanny真是美翻了呀。而且她心态是真好，下半生瘫痪了还回到舞校教书。
芭蕾舞伶的傳奇人生，尤其在她得了小兒痲痺，從此不但不能跳舞，甚至無法行走，卻在接受身體殘疾後依然展現自信、美麗的神采。影片找人唸Tanaquil的書信或日記，配合出色的footage剪裁、模擬POV等作法，隨著如癡如醉的德布西名曲Prelude to the Afternoon，一同進入她蛻變、起舞的靈魂。
stunningly beautiful
2014/03/22 不是很感兴趣，平平淡淡地讲故事，又是全黑白的footage，于是看得昏昏欲睡。不过Tanny是个很有意思的人，大风大浪的人生。
